Faizal Hamzakutty - Physiotherapist
Faizal is a Registered Physiotherapist who completed his Bachelors and Masters of physiotherapy in India. He has been in practice for 16 years, the past five in Alberta. He has specialized training in manual therapies, acupuncture, treatment of temperomandibular joint (Jaw) dysfunction, Vestibular (dizziness) rehabilitation, Sports medicine, Concussion treatments, Neuro kinetic therapy (NKT), Nerve mobilization techniques, Spinal Manipulation and mobilization, K taping, muscle release techniques. He has treated an abundance of motor vehicle accident cases, whiplash disorders, spinal cord injuries, stroke and hemiplegia, paralysis, chronic and acute pain, headaches, post fracture stiffness, arthritis, fibromyalgia. He is detailed in his assessment skills and he feels that a proper assessment and individualistic treatment plan is the key to a successful treatment. He prefers manual therapy over machines and is taking a holistic approach to treatment looking at both injured body part and how any movement dysfunction elsewhere in the body can influence the presentation. He’s a sports enthusiast and in particular has a passion for soccer. He played for the Junior national team in India and worked for FC Barcelona camp. His hobbies include fishing, hiking, driving and travelling.
Kathleen Litzenberger Registered Dietitian
Kathleen completed her masters in dietetics at McGill University in 2019 and moved to Calgary soon after to pursue a career in clinical nutrition. She hopes to share her excitement and passion for food with people who seek help in managing chronic conditions ranging from type 2 diabetes and hypertension to IBS and osteoporosis. She is also interested in exploring ways in which nutrition can enable rehabilitation, as well as optimize physical performance. Professionally, Kathleen works from a collaborative and compassionate approach and strives to empower her clients with nutrition-related knowledge that can guide them toward making more informed and confident food choices.
When Kathleen is not at work, she is either hiking, biking and climbing the outdoors or keeping busy experimenting with new recipes.
Sunder P - Registered Massage therapist
Sunder graduated from NIWE College with a 2200 hour Massage Therapy diploma. Sunder arrived in Calgary in 2015 as a Permanent Resident. His technical skills include: deep tissue massage, therapeutic massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Pre-natal Massage, relaxation massage, and Swedish massage.
He has developed a good awareness of the therapeutic and recovery needs of his patients, from a lighter relaxation massage to deep tissue work. He works with a broad range of patients from athletes, industry workers, to persons with a wide range of physical conditions.
Sunder believes that Massage Therapy can enhance a person’s overall sense of emotional and physical wellbeing. It can be an important part of any health maintenance plan by eliminating muscle tension and chronic pain.
Dubraska Mendoza - Registered Massage Therapist
Dubraska is a graduate from Makami College with 3000 hours Advanced Clinic Massage Therapy and a Medical Doctor from Venezuela. Dubraska has also worked as teacher assistant at Makami.
She specializes in Orthopedic Assessment and Therapeutic Massage to treat patients who come in with poor posture related to desk work. She is experienced on a wide variety of massage therapies, ranging from Swedish massage technique, trigger point, Lymphatic drainage, Hot stone massage, Pre-natal massage, PNF, Myofascial release, and Cupping.
She loves spending free time with her family and enjoying nature. Dubraska became a Registered Massage Therapist to fulfill her passion for helping others achieve their optimum health.
Cory Lescarbeault Registered Massage Therapist
Cory Lescarbeault graduated from CDI College at the start of 2016. He has been a member of the RMTA/CMMOTA since 2016. He loves working with neck and shoulder related injuries.
He uses a variety of techniques ranging from swedish to deep tissue and pays close attention to details. Cory incorporates lots of Range of motion with his treatments. Cory is more focused on the therapeutic approach to massage. He loves watching the progression of healing through each treatment.
In Cory's free time he spends it with his daughter, he also loves being out in the mountains. Cory loves to ski and snowboard.
Elena Daniel – Office Manager
Elena is a business development specialist and office manager whose key responsibility is to oversee the daily administrative operations of the office and develop procedures and policies to achieve maximum productivity, working alongside the staff to coordinate strategy development and implementation.
